Huigu of Zhuang
Abstract
This article uses qualitative research and interview methods with the objective to study the development and analyze the playing pattern of Huigu of Zhuang nationality in Mashan County, Guangxi. The field work method is mainly used for collecting data. together with the information from the document. The results showed that the history and development of the drum is divided into periods depending on the policies of the government and the Huigu drum has been preserved as an intangible heritage. Later, the cutting of trees was prohibited, resulting in the development of drum construction by modern methods. The pattern for play are 1 Single drumming mode 2.Group drumming mode 3. Group playing mode 4. Parade performance mode.
